REPSUN Completed Smart GSM Installation & Commissioning for Hubei Chemi-Industry

On March,6th, 2026, REPSUN was pleased to announce the successful completion of the installation, commissioning and official operation of the grounding system monitor for Chemi-Industry in Yingcheng, Hubei Province. This project was designed to enhance the safety and operational reliability of the chemical plant’s electrical system, providing real-time monitoring support for its stable operation.

The project involves 8 sets of grounding system monitor installed at 8 monitoring points, covering the plant’s core areas. Specifically, 7 monitoring points adopted the loop impedance method for installation. The remaining 1 monitoring point used the 3-point test method.

Grounding resistance is a critical parameter related to the safety of personnel, equipment and production in chemical plants. The installed  smart grounding monitor systems monitor the real-time, continuous conditions of grounding resistance, as well as data traceable and analysis, making up for the shortcomings of traditional periodic detection with poor real-time performance.

Successfully, all 8 sets of systems have been installed, powered on and put into operation. The system operates stably, with smooth data transmission and accurate data, effectively reflecting the grounding resistance’s status. This provides a strong guarantee for chemi-industry’s safe and stable production, helping to detect potential  electrical risks and prevent electric spark.
