There are three test methods for measurement of theground resistance of a building.
The first is an independent three-point method, which is to test the ground resistance of red, yellow and green grounding points by driving three piles into the earth outside ( E, P, C ). This grounding system monitor is REPSUN Smart GSM36.For instance, once the grounding wire is disconnected, there will be a very intuitive set of data comparison. GSM36 can send an alarm in time when it monitors that the grounding wire is disconnected. All monitoring data will be uploaded to the cloud in time and displayed in real time on the LCD screen of the smart host. And the test point is related to the installation location. For example, GSM36 is installed on section A, but section B is far away. If section A and B are disconnected, GSM36 can only monitor section A, but cannot monitor section B. At present, our GSM36 has realized the simultaneous monitoring of grounding resistance values for 16 points. So in specific applications, GSM36 is installed wherever the ground resistance needs to be monitored to determine whether the grounding wires are disconnected or the grounding materials are stolen.
The second smart grounding system monitor is REPSUN Smart GSM16 with the loop method ground resistance test which is a non-contact test method. By putting the sensor directly on the grounding wire, forming a loop, it can monitor the resistance value of the grounding wire in real time. How Smart GSM to induct and send an alarm when the roof grounding materials are stolen or the copper tapes are cut by the thieves? REPSUN Smart GSM16 can be come in handy! The ground wires pass through the circular sensor directly. The grounding resistance monitored will become infinite, and then an immediately alarm will be triggered as soon as the grounding wires are suddenly disconnected.
The third test method by thecontact type GSM26 can also be used in the same application scenario. In application of installation a wire of GSM26 is to be connected to PE, that is, it is connected to the grounding copper strip. If the grounding copper strip is abnormal, the ground resistance will become infinite and trigger an alarm immediately. And GSM26 can detect the resistance of the grounding system of the building, and can detect the grounding resistance of the transformer in the meanwhile. The specific application is to put the building independent grounding grid and the grounding wires of the distribution cabinets (transformer) together. Equivalently, two points are connected by a GSM26, that is, Neutral wire is connected to the distribution cabinet ( transformer ),and PE is directly connected to the grounding grid of the building. In this way, the ground resistance of both can be detected.
The wide application of GSM, taking LED street lights as an example, the biggest problem of outdoor LED street lights grounding is not that the grounding wires are stolen, but there may be leak electricity inthe grounding wires after being flooded, which leads to electric shock events during the rainstorm.
Smart GSM can send an alarm in time when the LED street light is powered off or leaking electricity. All monitoring data is uploaded to the cloud in time and can be displayed in real time on the mobile phone APP. It has GPS function, which is convenient for users to track the location of abnormal grounding, power off, and leakage in time for emergency repairs, saving manpower and material resources.
